The Missouri Supreme Court ruled that Proposition A is valid, and the paid sick leave portion will go into effect on May 1.

The Missouri Business for a Health Economy, a coalition of more than 500 businesses, welcomed the court’s decision. They said a group of small business owners filed an amicus brief with the Missouri Supreme Court in March supporting Proposition A and urging its full implementation.
